Arlene Colbert founded Amazing Essentials in 2021 after realizing she needed hair oil to complete her hair care regimen.
Going into the kitchen, Arlene said “I can make my own hair oil.” She creatively concocted five natural oil ingredients to transfer into a medicine bottle. Amazing Essentials began with one product, the Hair Serum, in Arlene’s kitchen. Over the following months, Arlene improved the Hair Serum.
One wintry evening while preparing to attend a social event, Arlene was inspired to apply the Hair Serum to her hair. After arriving at the event people kept saying, “Your hair is so healthy and beautiful!” Before Arlene sold the Hair Serum she bottled 12, 1 oz Hair Serum bottles and distributed it to family and friends to 4 different states. The feedback she received was overwhelming! Using the Hair Serum resulted in shine, softness and moisture. Arlene’s goal is to make women feel confident and beautiful from the inside out. Arlene Colbert is the owner of Amazing Essentials and creator of the company’s hair and skin products. After she found a solution to support healthy hair and skin, Arlene believes no one should have to struggle with dry hair and skin. Arlene said she wasn’t going to work after retirement, but six years later a new chapter in her life unfolded. In 2021, she became an entrepreneur.
Arlene is inspired by her daughters and grandchildren. She has two daughters, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In her free time, Arlene like to travel and garden, and is interested in learning how to play chess. Her top travel destinations include Israel and Africa.
